There is a lot to say about Twitter, and admittedly, I had a hard time focusing on just what to say, despite the suggestions given to students from the professor. What helped, in a way, is that 99.9% of the students have a Twitter account, so there really wasn’t a need to talk heavily about typical function. Therefore, I focused most of my presentation on the many uses of Twitter.
Below are links to the handout I gave students and the PowerPoint presentation I did.
Side note: I wanted to do a site of sorts for the presentation, especially considering our talk on hypertext the week of presentation; however, time would not permit.
Side note, part deux: Is it me or does PowerPoint feel a bit outdated? I don’t know, just felt as if I was using a program my mother helped to invent…no offense, Mom.
